Using this site
You may read, link to, quote and share anything published here. If you quote an article or a case study, attribute it to Altus Labs and link back to the original.
You may not scrape the site at a rate that degrades it for other visitors, attempt to gain access to systems or data that are not public, or represent our content as your own.
What is on this site
Articles and case studies describe work we have done and views we hold at the time of writing. They are not professional advice for your situation. Architecture that was correct for one client under their constraints may be wrong for you, and we would rather you asked than assumed.
Figures in case studies are drawn from client engagements and were accurate when measured. Where a client is not named, the client reviewed and approved the figures before publication.
Intellectual property
The content, design and code of this site belong to Altus Labs, except where third party licences apply. Our name and logo are ours.
Code samples published in articles are provided under the MIT licence and you may use them freely.
Sending us something
If you send us a project brief, an application or any other unsolicited material, you confirm you have the right to share it. We treat briefs as confidential and we will sign a non-disclosure agreement on request before you send anything sensitive.
We are not obliged to respond to, act on or return unsolicited material, though in practice we reply to every serious enquiry.
Availability
We try to keep the site available and current. We do not promise it will be uninterrupted or free of errors, and we may change or remove content at any time.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, Altus Labs is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of this site or reliance on its content. Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Nepal. Client agreements specify their own governing law and are frequently governed by the client's jurisdiction instead.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top reflects the current version.
